Responsibilities
Inspect products to ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications
Perform measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, roughness testers, visual measurement systems, and others
Conduct measurements using CMM and develop new measurement programs for CMM
Perform tests, analyze results, generate detailed reports, and recommend machining adjustments
Qualification
Required
Proficient in reading blueprints
Experienced in using conventional measuring equipment
Proficient with CMM equipment (Zeiss/Mitutoyo preferred)
Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel
Familiarity with machine tools, such as milling machines and lathes, is a plus
HS diploma or AA degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
3+ years in quality control, preferably in manufacturing
Manufacturing environment requiring walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Prolonged focus on visual tasks, including data entry on a computer and inspections
