Senior Aircraft Sheetmetal Technician
Johnson Service Group is looking for multiple Aircraft Sheetmetal Technicians to join our team based in Columbus, MS. They will be responsible for performing work on assigned aircraft, assemblies, and parts in the sheetmetal area.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret detailed plans, blueprints, and diagrams
Inspect and measure parts prior to assembly to ensure correct size and defect-free condition
Install sheet metal parts and assemblies without compromising aircraft structure or systems
Fit and assemble skins, frames, tail booms, stabilizers, and other helicopter sub-assemblies
Perform drilling, fitting, and riveting operations
Work with inspectors to test and verify proper assembly and installation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years related aircraft sheet metal experience
Experience may substitute for education toward an A&P license or related degree
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams
Knowledge of standard shop practices for aircraft structural fabrication and repair
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Preferred
Airframe or Powerplant license preferred but not required
