Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot PC hardware and software
Actively seek out and participate in projects to maintain and improve the systems/network environment
Create and maintain standard PC images for multiple workstation models
Process, monitor and prioritize trouble tickets
Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP issues
Assist in managing and maintaining technology inventory
Install and monitor antivirus software
Support other key initiatives as the business dictates

Required

Intern must be a US citizen
Individual must live in the Chicagoland area and be able to commute daily to the XR Trading Chicago Office: 550 W Jackson Blvd Suite 1000 Chicago, IL 60661
Working towards a bachelor's degree in a technical area such as computer science or information science within commutable distance from Chicago Loop
Desire to work and learn in a fast-paced agile environment
Experience with Python, JavaScript, Node.js or other scripting languages
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A self-motivated personality
