Responsibilities

Support systems engineering activities related to sustainment, upgrades, and safety of the T-6B Texan II

Monitor system performance, integration and airworthiness

Coordinate with stakeholders across NAVAIR, training squadrons, and contractors to ensure fleet readiness and training mission effectiveness

Contribute to risk management, technical documentation, and compliance with acquisition standards

Qualification

Systems EngineeringFixed-Wing Aviation ExperienceRisk ManagementTechnical Documentation

Required

Must hold a BA/BS degree in a technical field or scientific field from an accredited college or university

Must have three (3) years of recent and relevant experience

Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required

Have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

Must be a US Citizen

Preferred

Fixed-Wing Aviation Experience familiarity with aircraft systems, flight training operations, or acquisition support for fixed-wing aircraft

Knowledge of systems engineering processes and naval acquisition lifecycle
