Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on support for workstations, laptops, printers, phones, and other end‑user devices
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software according to hospital standards
Respond to incidents and service requests through ServiceNow in a timely and accurate manner
Assist with user account management including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts under supervision
Support basic networking tasks such as cable tracing, port activation, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting
Perform routine maintenance including updates, patching, and equipment checks
Document procedures and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team
Participate in small projects such as equipment rollouts, software deployments, or system upgrades
Assist with inventory management for hardware, peripherals, and IT supplies
Follow security and compliance standards to protect patient and organizational data
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent technical school training)
0–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
Strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server basics
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, switches, Wi‑Fi, cabling)
Strong understanding of printers, phones, and peripheral devices
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Industry certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco, ITIL Foundation
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
Experience with Active Directory (user creation, password resets, group membership)
Experience with basic scripting (PowerShell or Python)
Experience with VMware, SQL, or other enterprise tools (not required but beneficial)
Familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices
