Responsibilities

As a CMM Program Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and airworthiness of aeronautical products by performing in-process and final inspections in accordance with approved engineering type design
You will be responsible for the accurate execution, analysis, and documentation of inspection results, including the identification and reporting of any deviations
This role requires a high level of technical precision, attention to detail, and integrity
You will exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production quality and continuous improvement
In addition, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of metrology solutions used for manufacturing inspection

Required

Typically requires a high school diploma or Associates degree with 4 years of experience
In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gages
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and report inspection results

Preferred

Associate's degree in CAD or a related technical field
Experience creating, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T requirements
Minimum of two years of experience in engineering design and/or manufacturing inspection within a regulated or precision manufacturing environment
