Responsibilities
Maintain the hotel's customer and heart of house areas in accordance with brand standards by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary
Respond to both customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4+ years of general facility maintenance experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to successfully pass a driving record check
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Works well independently or as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to exceptional guest service
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Working knowledge of computer and math skills
Occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
Ability to stand and exert well paced mobility for an eight (8) hour shift
Ability to lift, pull, push up to 100 pounds on an ongoing basis
Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
Preferred
Experience in pool maintenance, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical work
Certifications for HVAC CPO
