Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems, production machinery, and facility equipment
Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, PLC interfaces, sensors, and instrumentation
Adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments; repair or replace defective electrical and mechanical components
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment
Complete maintenance documentation accurately in accordance with SOPs, GMP, and ISO requirements
Follow all written SOPs, safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical safety standards
Assist in the development, revision, and review of maintenance and equipment procedures
Support and lead equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning activities to ensure design and electrical specifications are met
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, panel layouts, and operating and maintenance manuals
Assist with equipment validation protocols and regulatory audits as required
Initiate purchase orders for electrical parts and materials in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors
Perform TIG, MIG, gas, or arc welding as needed for equipment repair or fabrication
Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment (certification required)
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including clean rooms and restricted environments
Perform all duties in compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Management
Qualification
Required
Valid Electrical License (Journeyman or higher) – REQUIRED. Candidates without an active electrical license will not be considered
Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Prior technical training in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or a related field required
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical fundamentals
Advanced proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in quality-critical and safety-sensitive situations
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift and powered industrial equipment certification
Preferred
Experience working in an FDA-regulated or GMP-compliant environment strongly preferred
HVAC certification preferred
