Responsibilities
Conducts experiments, collects data, and analyzes results in support of the Client and Company project objectives, and proposes process or document improvements
Prepares reagents, antibodies and materials for testing when appropriate
Maintains laboratory records in accordance with company standards
Tests new equipment using manufacturer’s guidelines
Maintains laboratory in a clean, functional state, as well as cleaning, performing or scheduling equipment and instrument maintenance/calibration/certification, as required
Summarizes data, analyzes results and reviews project progress with supervisor
Assists in the preparation of articles for publication, including posters, papers and marketing literature
Qualification
Required
B.S or M.S. in a life and/or Biosciences Required
At least 1 year of applicable experience in molecular assay development, validation and analysis
Basic understanding of laboratory or analytical techniques
Detail oriented with ability to capture and record complex scientific data accurately and reliably
Good written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to use software tools to produce high impact presentations of data
Ability to problem solve and escalate problems appropriately in a timely manner
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and maintain production and quality standards
