Responsibilities

Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program
Develop drawings/schematics for ground support equipment
Lead trade studies for architecture designs of Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending
Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems
Interface with suppliers and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions
Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers
Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure
Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with hardware product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems
Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, Pspice
Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
+5 years of professional experience for this role
You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

Preferred

Experience working in projects teams and development efforts
Experience with interconnect design
Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
Issue Tracking experience
Experience conducting trade studies
Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
Experience working with RF
Demonstrated an ability to work with small diverse teams in development of tech products
Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations
Experience troubleshooting System level
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
