Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and assembly of integrated computer, storage, and network rack solutions under the mentorship of lead engineers
Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases
Set up complex hardware/software environments to validate rack-level performance and stability
Execute testing cycles, report results, and perform initial root-cause analysis on hardware/firmware failures with support from senior staff
Partner with both Hardware design team (thermal, power, mechanical, M/B...) and Firmware design team to ensure rack designs meet power delivery and cooling requirements
Maintain precise technical documentation for system configurations and test methodologies
Qualification
Required
Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Architecture Knowledge: Foundational understanding of x86/ARM server architecture, high-speed networking (Ethernet), and Windows/Linux OS environments
Automation/Scripting: Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automating repetitive test tasks and data collection
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex technical issues into clear reports
Agility: The ability to grasp new technologies and concepts such as hardware protocols and software stacks rapidly
Preferred
Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
AI Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiar with Heterogeneous Computing and GPU software interfaces such as NVIDIA CUDA or AMD ROCm
