Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for a Senior-Level Environmental Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental site assessments, facility investigations, and mentoring future leaders while managing projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

Overseeing environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs)
Facility investigations
Other hazardous waste site investigations
Technical report writing
Mentoring of future leaders
Establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards
Training multi-disciplinary teams on site reconnaissance
Management of projects and budgets
Proposal writing and pricing strategies
Developing winning proposals
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients, regulatory approval agencies, and industry professionals by providing exceptional service

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Eight-plus years of experience performing most or all of the tasks listed above
At least three years of managing and/or coordinating project budgets and staff
Solid base writing skills
Attention to detail
Effective inter-communication skills
Familiarity with Phase I (ASTM E1527-21)
Familiarity with Phase II (ASTM E1903)
Ability to work independently when required
Collaboration and mentoring of technical staff on reports and field assignments
Preparation of technical report deliverables
Mentor and provide direct, hands-on assistance when teaching verbal and written skills to project and staff environmental professionals

Preferred

Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER
ASTM Environmental Professional (EP) (EPA 40 CFR 312.10)
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
Professional Engineer (PE)
Geologist in Training/Registered/Professional Geologist (GIT/RG/PG)
EPA Lead Inspector
EPA Lead Risk Assessor
AHERA Building Inspector
AHERA Management Planner
Project Management Professional (PMP)
other industry-relevant certification
