Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure and Databricks to support market and fixed income data workflows
Develop and optimize data models and datasets for downstream analytics, reporting, and data sharing use cases
Implement event-driven and batch data ingestion patterns using tools such as Kafka and Azure Data Factory
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across production data platforms
Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with data and reporting needs
Support secure data access and governance using Azure-native services and best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related roles
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including Delta Lake and data sharing patterns
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, and pipeline development
Experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestration and workflow management
Working knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming/event-driven technologies
Experience with Azure services such as Blob Storage and Key Vault
Familiarity with job scheduling and automation tools (e.g., Autosys/JIL or equivalent)
Solid understanding of fixed income products, including US Treasuries, futures data, and market liquidity data flows
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders
