Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Perform visual and functional inspections to identify cosmetic, dimensional, and performance defects
Document inspection results, defects, and trends using manufacturing execution systems and quality logs
Monitor production processes and initiate containment actions when nonconformances are identified
Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements
Assist with data collection and reporting to support quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or automotive environment
Knowledge of visual inspection techniques and defect identification
Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and quality documentation
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience supporting corrective and preventive action activities
Exposure to metrology tools and measurement systems
Background in process monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
