ADMINISTRATOR II, FRANCHISE TAX BOARD
The California Franchise Tax Board is looking for a motivated, people-focused leader to manage their Sacramento Field Office. The role involves leading a team responsible for providing in-person customer service and conducting proactive collections, while also collaborating with partners and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.

Qualification
Required
The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired

Preferred
Demonstrated experience supervising or leading staff and managing day to day operational activities in a public service or compliance driven environment
Proven ability to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate work to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality outcomes
Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and applicable laws or regulations
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing operational needs
Experience identifying operational issues and implementing process improvements to enhance customer service and program effectiveness
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, management and stakeholders
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across organizational units
Experience managing conflict, making sound decisions, and maintaining accountability and professionalism in the workplace
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Knowledge of Taxpayer Information (TI), Business Entities Tax Systems (BETS), Enterprise Tax Systems (ETS) and other Franchise Tax Board (FTB) information systems
Willingness to adjust work schedule to meet operational needs
Demonstrated performance encouraging positive relationships, creating high job satisfaction, encouraging success, showing understanding, and being trusting and supportive
Working knowledge of the ARM Division programs
Knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies
Involvement in a diversity of activities, program areas, and/or positions that have provided you with a greater understanding and appreciation for the broader perspective of the department/enterprise
