Customer Service Representative
TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services. They are hiring customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to support a well-known utilities organization, handling inbound calls and assisting customers with various service inquiries.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Handle 40–50 inbound calls per day, plus emails and chat
Assist customers with:
General utility service questions
Billing and payment arrangements
Collections related to payment plans
Service connections and disconnections
Navigate up to 5 software systems using dual monitors
De-escalate customer concerns independently with a focus on one-call resolution
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of call center experience
Strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills
Experience working across multiple systems simultaneously
Interest in a long-term career with growth opportunities
Preferred
Collections experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Call center training or team lead experience
Previous utilities experience (plus, not required)
