Software Engineering Intern
Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider and Internet of Things pioneer. As an intern in the RAIN Reader Platform Development group, you will design and implement a Developer Toolbox application to enhance developer productivity and support the development of embedded Linux applications.

Responsibilities
Design and define the contents of a Toolbox application for embedded Linux development and troubleshooting
Package diagnostic and performance tools (e.g., memory, storage, and system utilities) into a reusable, deployable application
Automate the application build process using our CI infrastructure
Produce a production-quality example application that serves as a reference for future tooling
Validate and document usage of the toolbox in a development environment
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related a field
Experience in C/C++ and Python programming languages
Experience developing on a Linux platform
Familiarity with shell scripting and basic build concepts
Familiarity with performance analysis, benchmarking, and debug tools
Strong interest in embedded systems
Proven experience working independently in a fast-paced environment and the ability to self-manage
Interpersonal, organizational and relationship-building skills
