Responsibilities
Review data and the association between data sets to determine to verify and document the business rules used to generate the output
Work on multiple projects at the same time
Involve multiple data sources, business groups, and vendor partners
Present findings or translate the data into an understandable document
Write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas
Translate any communication between technical and non-technical teams, at various data levels
Comfortable audio/video conferencing during any given portion of a workday
Communicating the planned process if data is incomplete is critical to project success
Look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings
Adaptability to a changing environment during a project
Present data based on the results of the analysis with no decisions on accuracy or feasibility
Ensure vigilance in analysis to include and report on all the available information
Maintain attention to detail when working on multiple projects at the same time
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
3-5 years' experience with data models and data mining
Understanding and documenting business rules from data analysis
Need State or Federal experience mandatory
Analytical Skills: Review data and the association between data sets to determine to verify and document the business rules used to generate the output
Communication Skills: Analysts are often called to present their findings or translate the data into an understandable document
Critical Thinking: Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on the findings
Attention to Detail: Data analysts must make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to include and report on all the available information
