Systems Design Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

As a Low-voltage Systems Design Engineering Intern, you'll help design solutions across technologies such as audio visual, security, and fire suppression systems, gaining practical experience in solution design and field work.

Responsibilities
Help design solutions to meet the unique needs of customers across technologies such as audio visual, security, and fire suppression systems
Gain exposure to solution design, proposal development, and field work while developing technical and professional skills
Create drawings, specifications, and schematics for system installation
Shadow installation and project teams
Qualification
Required
Current junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering design, electrical engineering, or related technical program
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A growth mindset dedicated to continuous learning and improvement
Must possess US work authorization and not require sponsorship for an employment visa by Envelop Group at any time in the future
Willingness to travel to customer job sites, which may involve outdoor work and environments such as mechanical or equipment rooms. Site visits may expose the employee to varying weather conditions, moving machinery, heights, and other environmental factors
Pre-hire requirements include a drug test and a background check

Preference will be given to local candidates; no relocation or housing stipend is available for this position
