Customer Service Account Representative
Confidential is a Chattanooga based Manufacturing and Distribution Center seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account/Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role involves supporting the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business development initiatives through effective communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities
Maintain strong, professional relationships and manage expectations and deliverables with effective documentation and communication for customers
Collaborate with internal teams to review project scope and discuss strategy to achieve customer goals and objectives
Communicate the status of projects both internally and externally. Assure that project due dates are met and/or inform key personnel of any changes to project scope or timeline as they occur to ensure customer expectations are met
Aggregate and present accurate cost and sell pricing for management approval prior to submission to the customer
Meets with production personnel to determine production timelines and delivery dates as required
Maintains strong customer relationships by serving as a point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Process customer orders, quotes, and customer requests with accuracy and timeliness
Ensures accurate communication of delivery updates both internally and externally
Address and resolves customer concerns efficiently and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintains detailed and accurate account information to support customer service and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Experience with office computer software required, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite software packages such as: Outlook, Word, and Excel
Effective strong analytical skills to assess market data and client needs effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members
Effective interpersonal and customer relationship skills
Effective organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to be detail-oriented
Ability to multi task
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, percentages, and proportions to practical situations. Basic knowledge of statistics
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Experience and knowledge of Metals and Manufacturing is preferred
Proven experience in account management or a related field is preferred
