Construction
Responsibilities
Interact with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather layout and structural requirements and designs
Calculate dimensions, slope, and unit quantities of materials
Detail designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software, with an emphasis on using Revit
Draw flow diagrams and layouts to illustrate working and preliminary plans
Identify potential operational issues and offer ideas to improve functionality
Check own work for accuracy and quality
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software required
Good math skills
Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work overtime as required
BS in Engineering, Architecture, or degree from a technical college
Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen required
Preferred
Revit experience preferred
