Responsibilities

Provide administrative and secretarial support to Insurance Defense Attorneys

Prepare, type, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas), including e-filing

Maintain and organize legal files for administrative and litigation matters

Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, tickler systems, and upcoming court-related events

Draft routine legal correspondence and handle phone calls

Coordinate meetings, appointments, and occasional travel

Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal teams

Handle incoming/outgoing mail and process file-related invoices

Organize and review medical records

Required

Prior experience in insurance defense preferred

Knowledge of local court procedures

Ability to perform routine physical tasks (bending, stooping, repetitive motion)

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
