Responsibilities

Lead in-field teams on correct and appropriate emissions testing practices and procedures
Set up equipment or stations to monitor and collect pollutants from sites, such as smoke stacks, manufacturing plants, or mechanical equipment
Monitor emission control devices to ensure they are operating properly and comply with state and federal regulations
Record test data and prepare reports, summaries, or charts that interpret test results
Prepare supporting documentation, such as, proposals, test protocols, and other compliance reports
Successful completion of all required training
Manage project execution while adhering to all applicable local, state and federal regulations and guidelines
Conduct sampling collections at facility emissions points in potentially adverse conditions, including poor weather and heights
Travel up to 70% as needed to various locations throughout the US and overseas, including weekends, holidays, and extended stay
Calculate amount of pollutant in samples or compute air pollution or gas flow in industrial processes, using chemical and mathematical formulas
Conduct data analysis and interpretation, and provide test results and analyses to client group

Required

Experience in air emissions testing (stack testing)
Familiarity with EPA Methods
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe
Unencumbered US driver's license and a clean driving record
Have high attention to detail, especially as related to safety and quality
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
Able to safely traverse ladders, stairs, etc. daily
Strong written and oral skills

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline preferred
Previous experience leading teams in the field
QI certification in Groups I, II, III
Thorough understanding of EPA Methods 1-5, 6C, 7E, 10
Experience with methods & scope specific to utility (Pt.75) customers
Experience performing CEMS RATA's (40 CFR 60/75)
Current, valid US Passport
