Human Resources Information System Analyst

Nortek Air Solutions, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Information System Analyst to manage and maintain their Workday Human Capital Management system. The role involves collaborating with HR leaders to enhance system functionalities and ensure data integrity while providing training and support to end users.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the configuration of Workday HCM, including core HCM, payroll, benefits, absence, time tracking, compensation, performance management, recruiting and security
Collaborate with HR leaders to gather requirements for system enhancements, understanding business objectives, and ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives
Ensure proper security roles and permissions are maintained to ensure system security, continued operations, and data integrity
Participates in the review, testing and implementation of new system requirements, upgrades, new reports, new business processes, etc
Leverage advanced reporting tools and calculated fields to design and build custom reports and dashboards to meet business needs and ensure accurate data delivery for HR business analytics
Develop user guides, training materials and other documentation to facilitate self-service and efficient use of Workday tools
Identifies training needs of end users and train human resources department internal customers on system functionality, utilization, new processes and procedures

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience
A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience with Workday HCM required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven business partner, relationship management skills, and the ability to interact successfully with all departments and levels, internally and externally
Ability to effectively plan, organize and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality
Analytical mindset with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
Ability to interpret and translate business logic, rules, and needs
Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and in a team environment
Displays strategic thinking and good judgment when faced with complex or difficult situations and decisions
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel

Preferred

Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification or equivalent is a plus
