Electrical Engineering Intern
Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with senior engineers to develop proof-of-concept embedded hardware systems for surgical robotics and work on multidisciplinary projects involving embedded hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities
Work in a multidisciplinary team to complete an agreed upon project involving embedded hardware, PCA design/debug/bring up and software systems
Communicating and collaborating with team members, providing progress updates on technical tasks
Design, document, develop, test, and profile complex embedded systems
Deliver a presentation on the completed project to team, other interns and employees
Qualification
Required
Experience with analog, digital electronic design and embedded firmware
Interest in robotics, precision motor control
Initiative and drive to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
Good communication skills
Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program after the internship
Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June
Current enrollment in an Electrical, Electrical & Computer, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate level
