Responsibilities
Sr. Atlassian cloud Jira/ confluence administrators who need to have hands-on experience (5 years+) , with good logical thinking and familiar with the Atlassian Jira / confluence support
The Jira Support Engineer will be responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting Jira environments for business and technical teams
This role requires strong Jira administration capabilities, including automation and scripting, along with solid organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth operations and user support
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience with Jira administration
Strong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permission management, and configurations
Experience in Jira automation (Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or similar)
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, or Python
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand business processes and map them into Jira workflows
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Experience managing discrepancies between user expectations, resumes, and actual capabilities
Preferred
Basic understanding of Confluence integration
