Responsibilities
Manage and guide a team of infrastructure and database engineers, balancing technical leadership with hands-on execution
Design, implement, and maintain scalable database and cloud infrastructure across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Drive on-prem to cloud migrations, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
Optimize, stabilize, and scale database environments, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, Firestore, and Redis
Implement and improve practices around automation, monitoring, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to maintain high availability for production systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to define platform strategy and deliver high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years in infrastructure and database engineering
3+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong background in Oracle database engineering
Hands-on experience with OCI and GCP
Proven experience in cloud migrations, preferably from on-prem to OCI
Experience with Firestore and Redis
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
Exposure to large-scale, high-traffic enterprise environments
