Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies that align with business goals
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced data solutions, including data historian systems
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis
Lead and manage complex data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and business processes to identify gaps and recommend solutions to enable data standardization
Develop and oversee the implementation of advanced data integration frameworks and methodologies
Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging data technologies to enhance system capabilities
Establish best practices for data governance, ensuring data quality and consistency across all systems
Drive innovation in data processing and analytics, leveraging machine learning and AI where applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role, with focus on the following systems: AVEVA PI, AspenTech IP.21, AspenTech Inmation, Inductive Automation Ignition, PTC Kepware
5+ years' experience in a consulting environment
Preferred
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance
Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-88, ISA-95, FAIR data principles and data integrity principles (ALCOA+)
Strong understanding of GAMP 5 frameworks and Computer Systems Validation (CSV) within a regulated environment
Understanding of ontologies and their role in standardization efforts is beneficial
Experience with data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.), or programming languages (such as SQL, Python, R, etc.) is a plus
