Directs the overall activities of the Server Support team responsible for administration, maintenance, and support of the server environment
Ensures the configuration, resources, performance, security, and reliability of the server environment
Develops and monitors the annual budget for the Server Support team and its various infrastructure components and software suites
Maintains appropriate staffing to support stated service levels and provides opportunities for training and education of staff to ensure that education levels remain high and up-to-date
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent. Equivalent Information Technology experience will be considered in place of a degree
8 to 10 years of experience in server support, with 3 years in a supervisory role
Ability to hire, monitor, coach, and measure employee work performance
Demonstrated success working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing multiple projects
Initiative and judgment in making decisions within the scope of assigned authority and the ability to substantiate these decisions
