Patient Services Associate - Internal Medicine (Northeast Philadelphia)

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) I is responsible for processing patient check-ins and check-outs, verifying insurance, and ensuring compliance with health regulations while maintaining a professional environment for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities
Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC
Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person
Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate
Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards
Other duties as requested or assigned
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Customer service and/or patient facing healthcare experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Russian) preferred
