Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain manual test cases; create required test data
Map requirements to test scenarios and test across Windows, Mac, iPad, and Chromebooks
Validate all item types, tools, and accommodations (e.g., zoom, highlighter, TTS)
Validate more than 20 report types/levels for accuracy against specifications and mock‑ups
Perform reverification after releases and deploys
Identify manual test cases suitable for automation and partner with automation engineers to support transitioning tests into automated coverage
Create well documented Jira defects including steps, screenshots, and video captures; work with Development to clarify issues and verify fixes through closure
Perform device and hardware/software testing, OS upgrades, beta testing, and online/offline testing
Conduct Secure Browser and System Readiness testing
Update devices to new browsers and operating systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of QA testing experience (or equivalent)
Hands-on testing experience across Windows, Mac, iPad, and Chromebook
Strong understanding of browser/OS updates and device testing
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices
Self-starter with excellent organization; able to manage tasks independently
Adaptable and comfortable shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
High integrity and accountability
Strong written and verbal communication; effective cross-team collaborator
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to learn specialized testing tools
Preferred
Experience with Jira and BrowserStack preferred
Experience supporting automation transitions is a plus
Experience working with NWEA assessment products especially MAP Growth and MAP Reading Fluency is highly preferred
