Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider and Internet of Things pioneer. They are seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test Intern to develop infrastructure that detects and alerts regressions in firmware performance through data ingestion and analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop software and systems to ingest data from performance tests and compare results against previous runs and defined thresholds

Build tools to precalculate and store data on performance trends

Create systems that automatically alert when results diverge from expected ranges or historical data

Develop visualizations to communicate performance trends and test results

Qualification

PythonC#Relational database designClear communicationTechnical documentation

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related field

Experience programming, scripting, and analysis in Python or C#

Familiarity with relational database design and experience moving data in and out of databases

Clear communication skills and ability to document technical information for a variety of intended audiences
