NEOGOV is looking for a R.O.W Technician I to perform utility line locates to minimize damage to city infrastructure in League City. The role involves executing line locates, processing requests, and ensuring utilities are properly marked to avoid damage during excavation work.

Responsibilities

Executes line locates initiated by the Texas 811 system and notifications from contractors
Processes line locate requests by marking water, sanitary and Stormwater lines and closing the tickets in the 811 system
Meet with contractors excavating in League City to ensure utilities are properly marked to avoid damage
Completes daily work orders
Performs on-call duties 24/7 as assigned
Performs related work as required

Qualification

Utility maintenance experienceClass D Water licenseClass I Wastewater licenseWater distribution systemsLine locate rulesReading construction drawingsHeavy equipment operationInterpersonal skills

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
At least one year of experience in utility maintenance and construction
Valid driver's license
Class D Water license or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
Class I Wastewater Collections license or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
Class C Water license or ability to obtain within 18 months of employment
