Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

PARSETEK INC is seeking an Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Consultant with intermediate experience in supporting accounting systems. The role involves configuring and optimizing Oracle Cloud applications, gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, and providing user training to enhance financial processes.

Responsibilities

Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle for multiple business processes. This includes:
Gathering and prioritizing product requirements in collaboration with functional BA/SMEs and the finance team
Transform requirements into technical specs. Ensure that documentation is updated through implementation process
Partner in defining the technical product vision and roadmap
Collaborate with functional teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
Ensure suggestions, ideas, and feature requests are captured as part of the product backlog as well as prioritize the backlog for development/implementation team
Serve as the product owner on agile teams or collaborate with product owners on agile teams
Work with Enterprise Architecture ensuring wholistic design and architecture for Integrations and other enabling other services across suite of products
Be a gatekeeper providing validation that changes are ready to deploy including ensuring the that change meets regulatory requirements and has obtained appropriate certifications
Support Oracle Fusion Finance product and feature launches
Perform testing including functional, regression, user acceptance, integration, and performance to verify that the requirements are met
Perform post-production release validation testing on any new improvements or bug fixes
Impart training on implemented features/processes/workflows
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Manage delivery from vendor teams that are onshore/offshore
Be a Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for IT for internal and external teams
Lead, participate, deliver following services with the help of internal and external teams
Build New Integrations to Other Systems
Continue to support new integrations to other in-house applications
Build new integrations to new third party systems
New Configuration/Customizations
Support business changes by configuring Oracle Cloud as business needs evolve
Introduce and configure “customizable” fields as needed to accommodate any special requirements not covered by delivered functionality
Configure dormant/new functionality in existing process groups
Build New Reports
Support for Mergers & Acquisitions
Enable Client’s business growth via mergers and acquisitions by allowing the application to scale with Client
Assist with employee data conversion and integration into Client’s Fusion implementation
Security & Workflow Support
Add/modify security roles as business security requirements change over time
Add/modify approval workflows as business requirements change over time
Support for Company Growth and Employee Population Growth
Configure Oracle Cloud by creating new departments, locations, etc

Required

3+ years of professional Oracle Fusion Financial experience
Intermediate experience supporting accounting systems
Experience of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions in Finance (3-7 years)
Hands-on leader
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams, including vendor relationships and offshore teams
Experience in influencing business partners in making use of out-of-the box capabilities and following industry standard business processes
In-depth experience with Oracle Fusion Financial Suite, experience in implementing end-to-end business processes across GL, AP, FA, Cash Management and Expense modules
In-depth experience in Banking Integrations, Bank disbursement file formats, BIP/OTBI reports
Experience with multiple Oracle Financials implementation
Experience modifying and creating Oracle Financial workflows
SQL experience querying large data sets from multiple sources and developing automated reporting
Review existing setups and recommend best practices in Oracle Financials
Work independently with Finance Team members (BA, SME, Super Users), Oracle Support and Technical development teams for completing assigned Projects
Assist with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team requests regarding Oracle Financial Setups and Configurations

Preferred

Experience in PPM, Procurement and Inventory is strongly preferred
