Staff Development Trainer

The Staff Development Trainer is responsible for coordinating and facilitating staff development and non-clinical education programs, focusing on leadership development and training needs assessment for the workforce.

Responsibilities

Program design & delivery - Create & facilitate engaging front line & leadership workshops, programs and virtual classes on topics directly aligned with the mission, vision, values and culture at Lexington Health
Coordinates and evaluates training programs and services based on determined & organizational strategic goals and objectives
Coordinates scheduling and marketing of classes in areas of coordination
Provides One on One coaching, guidance and leadership support to leaders at all levels from high potentials to emerging leaders, Managers and Directors across the Lexington Health system
Needs Assessment - Works closely with the department Director, Lead Trainer, HR Business Partner and organization leaders to identify performance skill gaps and design targeted development interventions
Works closely with Learning Management system and system coordinator to develop training materials for virtual and alternate training delivery
Provides services that assist in changing and improving performance. These can include training services, performance models to achieve business goals, and guidance in addressing work environment obstacles
Serves as a consultant for Staff & Organizational development to other departments in the hospital and Physician Network
Functions as a role model and resource person to other hospital employees through demonstration, teaching, and mutual consultation
Functions as a facilitator for task forces and committees organization wide
Represents Lexington Health at meetings and conferences with other agencies and organizations. Conforms to, leads & models the behaviors of Lexington Health's Service Expectations policy
Performs all other duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required in an emergency, i.e., fire and disaster

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
5 Years of experience which includes coordinating, teaching, and the evaluation of company education programs
Experience with needs assessment, Leadership educational program development, e-learning and blended learning from conception to maturation
Proven experience as a Trainer, coach or facilitator or in a leadership role with a focus and emphasis on talent development
Excellent oral and written communication skills; teaching, counseling/coaching, interpersonal and inter-group problem solving skills
Demonstrated proficiency in leading teams, change management, conflict resolution
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software to include, Word, PowerPoint, Webinars, etc
