Digital Experience Manager (Contract)
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is a leader in the fight to end diabetes, seeking a Digital Experience Manager to deliver impactful digital experiences for individuals living with diabetes and their supporters. This role involves designing and optimizing web-based experiences, collaborating with marketing and creative teams, and advocating for user experience to enhance audience engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Lead the activation of digital hubs focused on several priority focus areas for our industry partners, including identification and prioritization of content gaps, introduction of new assets and updates to existing materials with a focus on aligning user needs with content objectives
Collaborate with marketing managers, digital, creative and content teams to develop meaningful and measurable audience journeys and activate constituent-focused calls-to-action to elevate and deepen engagement for partner-focused, topic-specific content and events (e.g., obesity, liver disease, kidney health, etc.)
Serve as the user experience advocate and strategist, identifying moments of opportunity and friction, and designing solutions that increase impact for the communities we serve
Gather constituent feedback and insights through surveys, user testing, site behavior, and engagement metrics to surface constituent personas and inform journey design and performance improvement
With support from the Director of Marketing Data and Analytics, monitor and report on experience KPIs (e.g., engagement rates, satisfaction, conversions), surfacing insights that guide continuous refinement
Build and grow addressable topic-based audiences in digital channels, collaborating with digital experience directors and IT partners to enrich and refine user behavioral, demographic, intent and psychographic data
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure experience alignment and operational integration. Lead the co-creation and delivery of innovative solutions that fulfill partnership objectives while enhancing constituent value and support
Serve as a strategic advisor and advocate for user-first thinking in meetings, planning sessions, and deliverable reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
4+ years of progressive experience and proven results in digital experience, customer experience journey development, content strategy, customer insights, and/or UX strategy
Highly communicative, proactive collaborator in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated comfort level and experience working with data and using marketing insights tools (e.g., Qualtrics DXA, Glassbox, Hotjar, CrazyEgg, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.)
Proficiency in journey mapping and experience blueprinting tools (e.g., Miro, LucidChart, Smaply, Adobe XD, etc.)
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives, and influence stakeholders at all levels
Preferred
Focus in marketing, Business, Human-Centered Design, or a related field preferred
Experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred
Agency experience is a plus
