The US Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for managing various engineering and contracting operations. Responsibilities

Implement and manage the USACE-wide IM/IT acquisition and contracting program for G6
Establish operational acquisition policies and processes
Conduct training, manage acquisitions and contract/task order operations, coordinate process improvements, conduct inspections, and evaluate contractor performance
Oversee acquisition and contracting operations and staff consisting of Regional and Enterprise Contracting Officer’s Representatives and Ordering Officers
Ensure USACE IM/IT acquisitions are conducted in the most efficient and effective manner while fully complying with acquisition and contracting regulations
Work closely with the staff of the Contracting Office including the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialists

Required

The incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450, Financial Disclosure Report upon entering on duty in this position and annually thereafter

Relocation (PCS) expenses may be authorized (subject to available budget) if the selecting official determines the relocation is in the best interests of the government
This position must be in compliance with the Return to In-Person Work (RTIPW) requirement to work in an approved USACE applicable facility
