The US Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for managing various engineering and contracting operations. They are seeking a Chief for the Acquisition and Contract Management Branch who will implement and manage the IM/IT acquisition and contracting program, ensuring compliance with regulations and overseeing staff operations.

Responsibilities
Implement and manage the USACE-wide IM/IT acquisition and contracting program for G6
Establish operational acquisition policies and processes
Conduct training, manage acquisitions and contract/task order operations, coordinate process improvements, conduct inspections, and evaluate contractor performance
Oversee acquisition and contracting operations and staff consisting of Regional and Enterprise Contracting Officer’s Representatives and Ordering Officers
Ensure USACE IM/IT acquisitions are conducted in the most efficient and effective manner while fully complying with acquisition and contracting regulations
Work closely with the staff of the Contracting Office including the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialists
