Provide clear & concise direction for MOT along projects
Participate & lead District MOTEC discussions
Review & provide direction along MOTAA reports
Identify permitted lane closure along projects
Develop & review MOT (maintenance of traffic) queue analyses
Project management

Qualification

Civil EngineeringProject ManagementTraffic EngineeringLeadership ExperienceCommunication Skills

Required

Licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors
2 yrs. exp. as group or project leader or supervisor providing work direction & training to employees engaged in engineering projects or 2 yrs. exp. in managing engineering research projects (i.e., managing research projects applies only to staff specialist positions)
if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect project sites, must possess valid driver's license
Or licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 3, 85643
if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect project sites, must possess valid driver's license
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated registration
