Feeding Westchester is seeking a Development Intern to join their team for the summer. The intern will support efforts to build awareness about the organization's mission and services, while gaining exposure to various aspects of non-profit work.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Manager, Individual Giving, on the logistics and coordination of our new Hunger Youth Committee
Assist in planning and executing special projects within the Peer-to-Peer program, and donor stewardship activities, such as volunteer projects and donor recognition events
Assist in the development of fundraising materials and management of platforms
Provide support in maintaining relationships with donors and supporters, including summer newsletter mailing
Assist in tracking and analyzing fundraising data and compiling reports for management
Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities
Provide general administrative support to the fundraising department, such as creating informational folders, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Interest in influencer marketing, fundraising and nonprofit work; experience a plus
Passion for hunger relief
