Formlabs is building tools for 3D printing and offers internships that allow students to create and discover in various business areas. The Materials Intern will work closely with the Materials team to develop, formulate, and test new materials for 3D printing.

Work on a PhD-level R&D project in our materials development lab

Qualification

Materials scienceWet lab experiencePolymers researchCAD programsPython programmingOrganic chemistryPlastic engineering

Required

Passionate about material science or chemistry
Comfortable working in a wet lab environment
Have completed research or coursework with polymers
Comfortable working with CAD programs (ie SolidWorks)
Basic computer programming (Python)
Background in organic chemistry or plastic engineering
