Manager, Programs - Intake Associate

Responsibilities
Efficiently support all MHOTRS Behavioral Health Programs by managing the flow of client intake referrals
Supervise, train, and support the recruitment and onboarding of Clinic Intake and Experience staff
Demonstrate clinical awareness and cultural sensitivity when engaging with referral sources and clients throughout the intake process
Collaborate with MHOTRS Behavioral Health Program Directors and Managers to appropriately assign cases based on program criteria, clinician availability, and client needs
Monitor and maintain timely, accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Records system in compliance with agency policies and Office of Mental Health regulatory standards
Work closely with referral sources and prospective clients to obtain, review, and evaluate required clinical documentation to determine intake eligibility and appropriateness
Coordinate with clinical supervisors to support the review and approval of client intake documentation
Communicate intake status, next steps, and expectations clearly to clients, guardians, and internal teams
Manage and maintain clinic waitlists to support timely access to services
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in social work (MSW), Psychology (MA), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or Mental Health Counseling (MHC)
Experience working in a community-based mental health or behavioral health setting
Demonstrated experience providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed mental health care
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
Ability to manage high-volume workloads, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic health records systems and related data management platforms
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA requirements and adherence to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards
