Responsibilities

Forge strong and lasting relationships with publishers of all sizes, from multinationals to indies
Take the latest updates to Apple News Format from Apple engineering directly to publisher development teams, offer support and gather feedback
Work with XF teams and develop tools and workflows to improve processes
Stay on top of product development with a monthly release cycle, work multi-functionally to keep all teams abreast of updates, and effectively translate all this for an external audience
Create and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences

Qualification

Required

Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills with experience of framework like React, Angular, or Vue
Strong ability to meet with stakeholders and distill requests into meaningful workflows and changes
Impeccable written and verbal communication
Proficient in one or more of scripting languages (system automations / web development): e.g. Python, Ruby, Swift
Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation
A passion for digital publishing and experience with Content Management Systems
Strong presentation skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or the equivalent industry experience

Preferred

Excellent debugging skills with the ability to quickly recognize patterns and identify root causes
Proficient in using a variety of productivity tools
Able to summarize and effectively communicate technical issues and actions to key stakeholders and leadership teams
Experience working and reporting cross-functionally
