IT Inventory Specialist
Community Behavioral Health (CBH) is seeking an IT Inventory Specialist to maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets for the IT department. The role involves managing inventory systems, ensuring accurate records, and supporting the deployment and transfer of technology equipment.

Responsibilities
Maintain inventory system, including software and scanners
Assist in development of procedures to keep inventory records accurate
Determine and maintain accurate counts of all technology equipment, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, printers, hotspots and software licenses
Compile inventory reports, and resolve discrepancies in records
Scan and tag new equipment upon receipt
Assists in the physical deployment of new equipment
Assists in the physical transfer and move of equipment to coincide with personnel moves
Accept and re-inventory equipment when returned to IT Department
Assists in keeping storage areas organized
Shadow Support Technicians to gain additional background and knowledge on CBH Support operations and basic support tasks
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Ability to multi-task and balance tasks with varying priorities
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read, analyze, write and interpret technical procedures and general business documents
Ability to exchange information effectively with other staff at varying levels of responsibility and varying levels of technical competency
Ability to work independently or with a team
Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, meet deadlines, and complete projects in a timely manner
Requires ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Regularly requires walking, standing, stooping, bending, sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling and/or repetitive wrist/hand movements for various lengths of time throughout the day
Ability to utilize computers and office equipment to complete daily work responsibilities
Regularly works inside in areas that are adequately lighted and ventilated. Some fluctuation in temperature. No protective equipment routinely needed
Must be able to adapt to continuous changes/demands of the job
The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia resident or become a resident within six months of hire

Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of technical school education, training, certifications and experience
Experience in an insurance or healthcare environment preferred
