Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure supporting internal platforms and enterprise environments
Implement and support secure access patterns , including private networking, VPN connectivity, and controlled access to internal systems
Build and maintain cloud compute environments for labs, tooling, and operational platforms
Support and improve platform reliability , including monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational enhancements
Work with identity and access systems to integrate secure authentication and authorization workflows
Partner with network, security, and delivery teams to implement solutions that balance security, usability, and operational reality
Evaluate and support third-party and vendor-provided platforms , including understanding limitations and designing around them
Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code and scripting where appropriate
Create and maintain documentation , diagrams, and handoff materials to support long-term ownership
Improving and operating secure network access between enterprise environments and cloud infrastructure
Supporting network on-ramp and private connectivity initiatives
Designing access solutions around third-party platforms and real-world constraints
Enhancing reliability, security, and operational support for existing infrastructure and tooling
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud operations
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including compute, networking, and identity services
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including private networking and secure access
Experience implementing and supporting VPNs, jump hosts, or private access solutions
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and or CloudFormation
Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting real operational issues
Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with monitoring, observability, or synthetic testing tools
Familiarity with DCIM, power, or infrastructure visibility platforms
Experience automating certificate management or security-related workflows
