$22/hr - $26/hrPrecise Digital Printing Inc. is searching for a driven and innovative Junior Packaging and POP Designer to be a part of a growing team. This role plays an integral part in all aspects of graphic, POP, and packaging design, creating new displays and premium packaging while managing projects to meet user experience and design constraints.
Printing
Responsibilities
Collaborate with managers, salespersons, and customers to obtain or develop project specifications and timelines
Manage customers, suppliers, and timelines throughout prototyping and design phases to reach final sample approval
Design unique and well-crafted packaging and POP displays that meet customers’ needs
Manage shifting timelines to deliver products in a timely manner
Research, brainstorm, and develop creative solutions for cost effective packaging and POP displays
Create technical drawings and 3D Mockups for customer approval
Create dielines, apply artwork, and prep files for production
Work closely with the Production team to facilitate line set up and assembly processes
Participate in Pre-Production and Post-Mortem meetings
Assemble prototypes and first-off production samples
Assist Prepress department in file prep for production of all types of print items
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Track record of leading projects from concept to completion
Ability to work in a high stress environment with tight deadlines
Strong leadership and organization skills
Ability to make physical prototypes by hand
Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as a team
Excellent communication skills
Able to lift 40+ lbs
Experience in a related industry a plus
Structural and/or graphic design background a plus
Printing experience a plus
ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
BFA/BS degree in industrial design, graphic design, or relevant field a plus
