Bookkeeper/Office Manager
FlexProfessionals is a building company located in Sterling, VA, seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager proficient in QuickBooks Online. The individual will handle bookkeeping duties and participate in office administration activities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and overseeing office management tasks.
Responsibilities
A/P – maintains all purchase orders, codes and enters vendor and expense invoices, prepares and distributes vendor payments, and manages payroll
A/R - bills customers and clients, maintains follow up to ensure timely receipt of payments and prepares bank deposits
Reconciles monthly bank statements
Filing and preparing monthly reports
Office management duties including filing, ordering materials and answering incoming client calls
Completes other project responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors (or Associates degree in Accounting)
4+ years previous accounting/office management experience – previous experience in managing inventory a plus
Proficiency with Quickbooks Online required
Demonstrated proficiency and high level of accuracy with Microsoft Word, and Excel
Highly detail oriented
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-directed, resourceful and driven
