Warehouse Manager

Develop, implement, and sustain a sense of urgency and a culture of quality, safety, and accountability through ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of operational processes, efficiencies, and employee training
Manage warehouse personnel to ensure proper attendance, performance, and timely completion of all required duties, including the implementation of effective training programs that support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
Oversee Shipping Operations to ensure all customer deliveries and shipments are made timely or as required, with complete and accurate orders, while continuously improving shipping processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Oversee Receiving Department Operations to ensure all incoming deliveries are received promptly and accurately, receiving discrepancies are resolved with purchasing, and products are properly allocated, while driving continuous improvement and implementation of best practices in receiving processes
Ensure customer pick tickets are collected daily and properly invoiced in the ERP system, identifying and implementing process improvements to improve accuracy and workflow efficiency
Maintain accurate inventory and oversee the cycle count process, ensuring all inventory receiving is completed daily and accurately in accordance with company policies, with ongoing evaluation and implementation of process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy
Analyze warehouse data and operational metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement and implementation of process efficiencies related to receiving, picking, shipping, inventory accuracy, and labor utilization
Generate and review regular reports on warehouse activities, performance, safety, and inventory levels to support data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement initiatives, and leadership visibility
Oversee special projects as needed, including but not limited to assisting other branches, light building maintenance, assembly operations, and kitting, ensuring effective implementation of processes that improve efficiency and consistency
Ensure safe processes and procedures for all warehouse personnel, including the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs related to warehouse equipment, vehicles, safety practices, and uniform standards
Ensure all warehouse personnel comply with company HR policies and established practices, supporting consistent implementation and reinforcement through training and leadership
Maintain DOT compliance, including the safe operation of vehicles and warehouse equipment, regular inspections, and accurate maintenance records, while continuously improving compliance processes and documentation practices
Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse, inside and outside the facility, through the implementation of standardized processes and continuous improvement of safety and cleanliness practices
Learn and maintain working knowledge of all facets of the physical facility to support effective oversight, training, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations
Follow and support the implementation and continuous improvement of procedures and processes outlined in the warehouse management operations manual
Maintain complete and accurate files as required, including document capture by scanning, and continuously improve documentation processes for efficiency and accessibility
