Responsibilities
CMDB Health Management : Improve and maintain CMDB health in terms of completeness, compliance, and correctness
CI Class Manager Oversight : Refine and maintain the CMDB model using the CI Class Manager
CSDM Alignment Projects : Support parallel projects focused on building CI/Asset lifecycles aligned with CSDM. Participate in meetings, lead stakeholder discussions, formalize requirements, and test functionality pre- and post-deployment
Queue Management : Manage daily request fulfillment (CMDB data updates, reports), incident response, and ensure timely ticket assignment and resolution
Operationalization : Create and maintain Knowledge Articles in ServiceNow to support new functionality
Discovery & Integrations : Collaborate with the Discovery team and maintain a strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery processes and integrations
Governance & Policy : Maintain governance, policies, and direction of CMDB and Discovery processes
Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with IT service areas, IT management, and internal consumers of CMDB data to identify improvements and ensure data quality
Team Leadership : Assist in leading the Configuration and ITSM team, facilitate meetings, and provide mentorship to junior team members
Qualification
Required
Deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow, particularly around CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM
Experience in improving and maintaining CMDB health in terms of completeness, compliance, and correctness
Ability to refine and maintain the CMDB model using the CI Class Manager
Support parallel projects focused on building CI/Asset lifecycles aligned with CSDM
Manage daily request fulfillment (CMDB data updates, reports), incident response, and ensure timely ticket assignment and resolution
Create and maintain Knowledge Articles in ServiceNow to support new functionality
Collaborate with the Discovery team and maintain a strong understanding of ServiceNow Discovery processes and integrations
Maintain governance, policies, and direction of CMDB and Discovery processes
Work closely with IT service areas, IT management, and internal consumers of CMDB data to identify improvements and ensure data quality

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of highly relevant experience in ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery
Completion of ServiceNow CMDB Fundamentals training
Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules interdependencies, especially ITAM and ITSM
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CSDM, and CMDB reconciliation engine
Familiarity with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and its relationship to CMDB data
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Desirable certifications: ServiceNow Fundamentals, Discovery Fundamentals, Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery, System Administration, Advanced System Administration
