Responsibilities
Collaborate with the engineering team to design automated machines, often one of a kind
Specify components including: Motors, gearboxes, other power transmission, air cylinders, valving, vacuum, sensors, etc
Build bill of materials
Machine design in Solidworks
Support in house manufacturing, testing and customer runoff
Interaction with customers throughout the design, build and runoff processes
Qualification
Required
BSME or associate degree in related field
Solidworks
AutoCAD
Project management
Creativity and problem solving skills
Very high mechanical aptitude
