Responsibilities
Ensure the reliability and maintainability of plant equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems
Partner with project engineering on new and modified installations, applying life cycle asset management and participating in design, commissioning, and acceptance testing
Track production losses and high-maintenance-cost assets, perform root cause analysis, and implement cost reduction and loss elimination plans
Define, design, and continuously improve asset maintenance strategies, including value-added preventive maintenance and predictive testing technologies to identify reliability issues
Work closely with operations to analyze asset performance (e.g., utilization, OEE) and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures affecting capacity, cost, quality, or compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
3–5 years of experience in a reliability or maintenance engineering role within a heavy industrial environment; aluminum or rolling process experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA, PM/PdM) and data-driven problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis and basic statistical techniques
